It is easy to forget to turn off a workout on the Apple Watch, but not at all as easy to remove the workout from Health. How to use.
Watch is a great tool for keeping track of the body and exercise. For some forms of training, the watch can even automatically detect when you start and end a workout, but of the many forms in the Training app, there are still many you must remember to finish when you are done. This applies, for example, to yoga and strength training. It is easy to forget when you lie there and sweat and exhale after the workout. And suddenly you have a two-hour yoga session that was actually 12 minutes.
There is no way in the training app to shorten a training session that has become too long and the session is automatically saved to Health, where it becomes part of your statistics. If it happens relatively often, it can create an incorrect picture of your training level and health, so it may be a good idea to remove such workouts. But how to do it is not immediately obvious and you have to really root in the Health app to get to the right place.
Open the Health app on Iphone. There are several ways, but the easiest is to show the Overview tab and scroll down until you find a Workout . Scroll all the way to the end of that section and select Show All Data . It may take a while for the app to load all the workouts if you have used the watch to register workouts for a long time.
If you do not find it via Overview, you can select the Browse tab instead, followed by Activity, and scroll down to the Last 7 days where you will find Workouts.
Here you can browse the list and find passports that have become too long or registered by mistake. To delete individual passes, swipe left on the pass itself and the Delete option will appear. You can also select Change at the top right and press the minus buttons to the left of the sessions one by one - it's a bit faster if you have several sessions to delete.
Unfortunately, there is no way to simply shorten a passport, you have to choose between keeping it as it is or removing it altogether.
Also works for other data types
You can scroll down to the end in most other categories in Health and select Show all data. In this way, you can, for example, remove if you have accidentally entered the wrong weight or something else. Or remove kinky automatic entries from apps.
